Animatics
Animatics are an essential part of the pre-production planning process of a video. They focus on the timing and rhythm of a film or animation. Combined with a soundtrack, they present us with a clear sense of how the finished production will be. The process is broken down into 3 stages, Pre Production, Production and Post Production.
Pre Production
The Pre Production process starts with the script, the foundation of each animation. Here we craft and hone your message so it delivers all the information in the most impactful way. Next we design the characters, these are the tools we use to deliver your message and are all uniquely created to compliment the dialogue and set the tone you want for your ideas. The next step gives dimension to the character. Character Turnarounds are a series of drawings that show the characters from different angles, a simple step but one that really adds life to the animation. A professional voice-over completes the transformation of your character. An essential part of the process, we meticulously research the best voice to deliver your message. Our professional team of professional voice-over artists have years of practice of finding the perfect tone that compliments the character and resonates with the listener. Now we offer you the Storyboard. The Storyboard is the prelude to all animation services. Why? Because it’s the most useful tool to incorporate the ideas of the screenwriters or clients into the picture and allows for changes to be easily made at a preliminary point in the process. It makes a world of difference having a drawn out script and to see the flow of the story and development of the characters. We make storyboards to show our collection of thoughts translated into drawings. The Final step of Pre-Production is the animatic. This is an essential tool that focuses on the timing and rhythm of the animation and provides us with a clear sense of how the finished product will be.
Production
Next we have the Production stage of the animation. We submit every 30 seconds of animation for Preview and Approval. Any edits required are applied and then the next 30 seconds of animation is submitted for preview and approval. The entire animation is completed this way allowing for close supervision and control of the finished product.
Post Production
Much of the real magic happens in Post Production. With the addition of sound effects (SFX), background music and visual effects (VFX), your animation takes on a life of its own. These post production effects brings the whole animation together, giving it character, individuality and personality.
